Where are you located?

Our ranch is in Forest Hill, Louisiana, 18 miles south of Alexandria. From Highway 165, north of Forest Hill about 1 mile, go west on Highway 112 through Historic Camp Claiborne. In six miles, turn left onto Upper Boy Scout Road. Look for the Ranch on the left about 1 mile down.

Who can ride?

All riders must be in good health and not have any medical conditions that would make them unfit to ride. There is a weight limit of 260 lbs.

Riders in the National Forest must be over 8 years old. Riders 8-14 must be able to demonstrate that they can control their horse.

For those who cannot ride in the National Forest, we have pathways and enclosures at the ranch so that all can enjoy a horseback experience. Lessons are available to all.


What are the trails like?

The trails are in the National Forest, under the shady forest canopy. The trails are chosen based upon the experience level of the riders, and range from level and sandy to more challenging hills.

What does it cost?

One hour trail ride $50.00 per person; Two Hour $75.00 per person; Three Hour (experienced riders only) $100.00 per person. Riding lessons $40.00 per hour per person. Military, Police, Fire Fighter discount 10%. Call us for special event pricing.
